Labyrinthitis

That's what the doc says I have. She gave me a Rx for valium and told me to keep a low profile and come back to her office Monday.

I will be so far behind work-wise by Monday that it's not even funny. The work stuff is stressing me out so much, I can't even rejoice over the valium Rx. Yes, it's that bad.

In other news, I am now watching my third episode of True Blood in a row, and am about to be all caught up on the season thus far.

Oh, and I can't drive. So screw me, what the hell am I going to do about actually functioning like a normal person in society for the next few days? A friend drove me to the doctor's appt, then to the pharmacy and grocery store, and then to pick Carlie up from school. Thank God I have good friends!

Yeegads! I hope it goes away soon. Would some chiropractic care help? I know it helps the common type of vertigo but no idea if it would help in your case.

Is that a real diagnosis? I thought for a minute you were funning and it was a made up thing, not that any of the symptoms you're experiencing sound like fun. At all.
