Bad Boys, Bad Boys, What You Gonna Do?

I know I'm not the only woman who kind of likes the bad boys. I think we can all agree on a few things, a few universal truths, and those truths would be that famine is bad, chocolate is good and Johnny Depp is hot. Regardless of your race, religion or political bent, you've got to be with me on that, right?

Johnny has been my favorite bad boy since the days of 21 Jump Street. His hotness never disappoints. NEVER.
As I am watching this season of Dancing With The Stars, another bad boy has caught my eye. Steve-O. I'm having trouble deciding: hot? or not? I'm actually kind of digging him on DWTS. He has a goofy boyish thing going that I am kind of a sucker for.

What do you think? Steve-O? Hot? Or Not?
If you don't know Steve-O, he is from a show called Jackass. And if you don't know Jackass you are (1) more mature than I and (2) missing out on some funny shit. Wherein funny means you have an inner 12-year-old boy who still laughs at farts.

The other star of Jackass is Johnny Knoxville. And regardless of whether you enjoy really obnoxious stunts or not, you've got to admit, he is fine. Photographic evidence right here:
And just to round out my list of bad boys, let us not forget a few universal favorites. Mr. Anthony Kiedis. I loved him even when he was 30-something dating a high school senior. Wrong, I know, but a bad boy's gotta do what a bad boy's gotta do. My love for him was forever cemented in 1992 when he performed at Lollapalooza. We made meaningful eye contact, me in the crowd and he on the stage, his long hair flowing down his back. Oh yes, we did. And can I also say? Lollapalooza 1992 included not only the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but also Pearl Jam, Sound Garden, Stone Temple Pilots, Porno for Pyros and Rage Against the Machine. One of THE BEST days of my life. Seriously.
And while I am living in the 90s, let's not forget Eddie Vedder. And he's not even a bad boy! He's a really good human being. But still, hot as hell.
But I digress. Back to the bad boys. Tommy Lee. You know he'd be fun to party with, but you might walk away with something nasty, like Hep B. Not really worth the risk, but still...

Dave Navarro. Lately he is wearing too much makeup, but there is just something about him that I dig.
And Kid Rock. There's a strange allure there that I can't define. My guess is he might not smell great, but I'd be willing to take the risk.

Who's missing from my list? Who's your favorite bad boy?

I love me some Viggo Mortenson, but only when he is dirty and scraggly and stuff in Lord of the Rings. In any other movie, he doesn't do it for me. But he's not bad. He's just BAD.

And Juan Carlos Ferrerro is my other bad boy. Still hoping to meet him one year at the US Open. Ba-da-ba-ba-ba, I'm lovin' it.

I don't agree with all of your pics, but I agree with Johnny Depp and Johnny Knoxville.

How about the dude that plays Eric Northman on True Blood? I guess he's not really a bad boy, but his character is!

I'm going to admit it: I don't get the appeal of any of those guys, including Johnny Depp. I've always been a fan of the clean cut guys, especially if they're blonde with blue or green eyes. Think Val Kilmer in "Top Gun." I have never deviated from that preference my entire adult life. When I met my husband, he was still really blonde and had a flat-top. Oh, and he has blue-green hazel eyes. He knows I'll never leave him for Colin Firth, but isn't so sure about Daniel Craig.

nah, not really how I swing, Yes, Depp is alluring but I love an older man, someone grown up with that swagger of confidence from being a man, not because his stomach is flat. You know, when he's more interested in you than himself. Let's see...hmmm, I adore Colin Firth with every fiber of my being. Now he's yummy. Harrison Ford, Chris Noth, and I'm certain there are more but my head is plugged and I can't think clearly :-)

Steve-O is not hot to me. First, because I don't think he's hot, and second, because I've seen way too much Jackass.

Wow! You were at Lollapalooza 1992? That is frickin' awesome!

kt - have you seen Eastern Promises or Appaloosa? Very good. I'm like that with Brad Pitt. I only like him when he's all scruffy and stuff in Fight Club Snatch.

My favorite bad boy has got to be, hands down, my husband.

I was saying to myself, "Who's Steve O?" Then I scrolled down. Oh. Yeah, I'm out of touch.

Where has Anthony Kiedis been all my life??? I've never seen or heard of him until this very minute. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

You know, I'm with you on Kid Rock. I can't explain or even fathom it, but it's there. Go figure.

This is so funny because Hippie and I were just talking about some of these guys yesterday. The current love of her 13 yr old life is Eddie Vedder. What is he? 50? She also love her some Johny and some Anthony Keides. Hippie looks just like her dad, but she inherited her love of the bad boy (man?) directly from me. She's got a lot of pain ahead, I fear.

Oh, and I hate, hate, hate clean cut guys. BORING! My sister kept on talking about this gorgeous guy, and when she finally pointed him out I about barfed. He was wearing a white polo shirt with a navy collar, navy, pressed and pleated golf shorts and loafers with no socks. Ugh.

Give me some long hair, earrings, and tattoos please.

You've got me on a role here. I think I'll have to right my own blog post about this.

Johny? she love her some? Role?

I'm so flustered by those pictures I can't even write correctly.

Johnny Depp's the only one on this list that gets my blood hot.

How about the dude that plays Sawyer on Lost? YUM!

I can't go far for the Jackass boys; technically hot but the idiocy hurts (Tommy Lee & Kid Rock fall into the same unfortunate category).

Anthony Kiedis & Dave Navarro, however...Sizzzzzzle, yessss. I say yes.

I love the bad boys to look at but smart men are still the best to be around. Usually a lot funnier & not so self absorbed, oh and they most likely have money so you don't have to buy all the drinks. I tried clean cut once, and after the divore realized that was not going to work for me.

Ugh...you lost me at the bottom of that list:P
I don't think Steve O is hot, but he's got something about him on DWS. I will give you that:)
Johnny Depp...just yummm...

I've got to go with no on Steve-O, but I will second RDJ and Sawyer!
