The good news: I went to the gym today (Saturday), which is unheard of for me. Did a 30-minute core class followed by an hour of Pilates. Tomorrow (Sunday) is running group, hitting five miles. So lots of exercise this weekend!
The bad news: I had three mini cream puffs for breakfast and another three with lunch.
The badder news: We are going to a fundraiser dinner tonight, paid $250 for the tickets, and the gourmet seven-course meal is going to be unbelievable and I don’t intend to miss a single bite of it. Not to mention the seven exquisitely paired wines that will be poured.
Oh, and the final nail in this overeating weekend coffin… I was a judge in a barista contest last night. The drinks were: cinnamon/curry/coconut latte, cupcake cappucino, banana split latte and a sea salt mocha. Each one was divine. To cleanse my palate between coffees, I drank beer. Nice, huh?
I may be fat, but, damn, do I not have the funnest life ever?
