Carlie's school auction, by far the biggest annual fundraiser for Our Lady of Lourdes School, is going online this year. Please help me prove to some archaic types that the Internet can be used for the forces of good vs. evil by going to the auction Web site and creating a user account. Even if you don't spend a dime, the bigger the number of people showing interest in an online auction, the more my point is proved. And we all know how I like to prove a point.
You can register and look at items RIGHT NOW, but the bidding begins November 16 and ends December 13.
If you are so inclined, you can make a donation online or bid on some great items. You'll be helping to support a great little school that's been around for 50+ years and you could score a sweet deal on some great Christmas gifts in the process. Plus you'll get 10 bonus friend points from me for creating an account. And again, we all know how important those are. OK. They're worthless. But still.
