I have two hours of alone time before I head over to pick up Carlie, so I flipped on the TV. And was immediately sucked in by Susan Lucci in an infomercial for the Malibu Pilates Chair. And now? My life will not be complete until I own a Malibu Pilates Chair for the price of $350.00. Because? I am a SUCKAH with a capital SUCK.
The sun is shining. The TV is off. And I am going to go for a run and try to work the burning shopping desire out of my system. You would think being completely broke and on the brink of abject poverty would be enough to quell that shopping desire. But I am here to tell you... not so much.

At some point in time, I have owned nearly everything Ron Popeil has every hawked. And yes, I once had a Thighmaster.

I am a total sucker for the infomercials.
Bare Escentuals mineral makeup-Own it.
All the greatest rock-n-roll hits from the '80s conveniently collected for my listening pleasure on 4(?) CDs-own them.
Food Saver-Own it, although, in its/my defense, this was truly a good purchase.
The '90s version of the Hanger Cascader-Own those too.
ShamWow-Totally want one!
Tobi Steamer-OMG, my entire house would be so neatly pressed if I owned one of these!
That blue mop/sponge/squeegee thing that was all the rage about 10 years ago-Owned that too, also not that impressed.
Tempur-Pedic bed - Best thing we have ever bought! Every once in a while the infomercial delivers!
Yep, I ordered some hair removal thing. I can not remember the name of it. It was a complete disaster. Money gone, hair remains:P
Remember The Firm? I bought it, tried it a few times and was all, "Wow, this is kind of hard." And that was the end of that.
I JUST wrote today about how I can't say no, so suffice to say that I am legally required (by my potential divorce lawyer) to never turn on infomercials.
However, in days gone by I've purchased many, many things As Seen on TV, including but not limited to, a trampoline.
Oh I also have the greatest rock-n-roll hits from the '80s conveniently collected for my listening pleasure on 4(?) CDs as so lovingly described by Dreamybee.
I never got suckered into the info mercial stuff but I am not much of a shopper. I must admit I do want to buy some Sham-Wow's for Christmas gifts but I don't know if the recipients of the gift would get the intended joke...
