Carlie went on a sleepover with a friend who has one of those crafty moms. You know the kind that have activities planned for the kids (not watching TV) and send them home with cute crafty things (not lice)?
CARLIE: Mom, I made you a bracelet at Emma's house.
ME: Wow, I love bracelets. Thank you.
CARLIE: (presenting bracelet) It was supposed to say "mom," but I put one of the M's on upside down, so it says "wom" instead.
ME: I love it.
CARLIE: Mrs. S put extra links in because she thought I made it too small, but I told her you had skinny wrists because you're on a diet.
ME: Perfect fit : )
