Special girl

So I am at the Miley concert with my two girls, ages 10 and 16. I thought the allure of Metro Station would be enough to captivate the 16 year old. I thought wrong, but that's a post for another day.

I didn't tell the girls where we were going, but dropped hints leading them to believe we were going to a Blazers game. My plan worked a little too well and they were both, all, Go Blazers as we walked to the arena. Note how neither child had a clue that it was not basketball season. Because? Diehard fans, those two.

Then we walked past the marquee announcing MILEY and my girls? Said oh look, Miley is coming to town. We are so over Miley, ha ha ha. GO BLAZERS.

When we got into the arena entryway, which is FULL of screaming GIRLS in MILEY shirts, Carlie says, I wonder if Miley is here at the Blazers game!! She? Was not even joking.

And Erinna said, Carlie, duh this is a Miley concert.

And Carlie said... and I am not making this up... Is Miley before or after the basketball game?

I just did this whole post on my Blackberry. And now I am going to find the beer garden.

Party in the USA.

Haha, that's funny. I think I was kind of spaceshot-like when I was a kid, too. Wasn't till around 10 or 11-ish that I started paying attention and remembering things like tests and homework and such.

Dude, that Party In The USA song is catchy but I am not impressed with the her synthesized vocals. I always thing synthesized vocals = mediocre singer.
