Enough, already

Did I try to moonwalk in junior high/high school? YES, I DID.

Do I still haul it to the dance floor when Billie Jean is played at a wedding? YES, I DO.

But, seriously? Enough already. I'm sorry Michael Jackson died at a young age, in the way that I am sorry that anyone dies at a young age. But let's not forget that he was *probably* a pedophile and child molester. And if ALL of those allegations are totally untrue, at best his relationships with children were inappropriate. And his own children have been subjected to an unbelievably bizarre lifestyle and upbringing, and I really wonder what happens to them now. Can they remove their masks? Will they be shipped off to their absentee mom who has allowed them to live in bizzaro land with her approval all these years? Inquiring minds want to know.

But, really, enough with the media coverage.

Sing it to the choir sister.

Cheri has an excellent post about this on her blog.

Amen, Reverend Shana. If I see one more doleful newscaster and footage of sobbing fans, I'm gonna puke.

Can we please have more coverage of Sanford? That is the most fun story of the year.

Agreed - I didn't even mention it on my blog....

Yes, as I said on Cheri's blog, if only I had read before I wrote, she said it much more eloquently than I. But bottom line: RIP freakazoid. Good riddance.

Amen.

I heard someone refer to him as the crowd's 'beloved' today, and I nearly vomited.

Come on...

I am with you, Shana. I hope his kids will have a CHANCE at a less bizarre life now.
